      Actions For the Week of February 21 through 27

      We would like thirty more Congressmen to sign on as cosponsors of H.R. 297 on their return from recess. This will take a little work but if the citizens are interested, many Congressional Representatives will listen.

      Goals for This Week:

      1. Check and see if YOUR congressman is a cosponsor for H.R. 297.

        Link to cosponsor list

        Link to identify your representative (if you are not sure who he or she is.)

      2. Phone, email and send a post card to your representative.

        • If he or she is not listed as a cosponsor, urge your Representative to cosponsor H.R. 721, the Rahall-Whitfield Bill.

        • If he or she is a cosponsor, thank your Representative for cosponsoring H.R. 721.

      3. Find out if people in your area are going to meet with their Congressional Representative on March 7th. If so, make plans to join them.
