Alliance of Wild Horse Advocates POSTCARDS AND FLYERS The following resources are provided to assist you in your campaign against the Burns wild horse sale and slaughter rider.

Print Your Own Postcards Postcards are a convenient way to contact your representatives in Congress. They are easy to print out (you can buy pre-perforated postcard paper or card stock that you can cut yourself) and they move fast through the Congressional Mail Rooms since they don't have to be inspected for hidden contaminants. These post cards provide a space for citizens to write short personal messages so the postcards aren't dismissed by Congressional staffers as being merely "form mail." It is vitally important to keep our representatives in Congress informed as to our positions on various issues. We have several postcards to choose from. Please download and use these materials. Horse Slaughter Flyer You can download a two different flyers on wild horses and horse slaughter. We have a two page flyer that focuses on horse slaughter. (Please note that this flyer contains several graphic photos.) We also have a five page flyer that discusses wild horses on the range, slaughter, Senator Burns and possible solutions. From the Open Range to the Cooking Range Send these flyers to your governmental representatives and ask them why they haven't taken specific action to repeal the Burns rider and share them with interested citizens.
